I’m now at the 19th Surah of Quran, Maryam. It makes me remember about a funny incident that happened when I was studying how to read Quran a few years ago. The Surah comes with “Kaf Ha Ya ‘Ain Shad”, which was not usual for me. You know, may be because I was not ready with letters-except-aliflammim-alike. Hahaha.. So, I took about one day to solve that problem. My teacher, usually gave all of the students a kind of assignment : we have to read one or two ‘ain(s) (it’s similar with about one page of Quran, and takes approximately 6-8 minutes, depends on how fast you read) and repeat the same readings the next day. And I did nothing, until he said “Kaaaaaf…Haa.. Yaa… ‘Aiiiin.. Shaaad..”. I wish I had google that time, and just typed “how to read first sentence in Maryam”.
